The 3 Best Ways To Use Kratom Leaves
Kratom has long been used as a herbal remedy that can impart analgesic effects, boosting energy, and relaxing the mind and body (amongst other anecdotal applications). In its powdered form, it is an extremely versatile substance. So here are three great ways to use it.
1. TOSS AND WASH
Tossing and washing your kratom is the quickest and easiest way to ingest it. It is really simple: you fill your mouth with water, add in your dose of powder, mix it all up in your mouth, and then swallow it down.
2. MAKE HOMEMADE CAPSULES
Another really easy way to dose yourself is to make a batch of kratom capsules. All you need are some gelatine pill caps (or a non-gelatine alternative for vegetarians). The all you do is fill the caps with powder, seal them up, and hey presto!
As an added benefit, gel caps filled with kratom can be stored for later use down the line, for fast and easy dosing.
It is possible to fill caps by hand, but this can be a lengthy process. If you really want to speed it all up, and create kratom capsules with ease, you can use a capsule machine that allows batches of capsules to be created all in one go.
3. MAKE A TEA
Lastly, kratom works very well as a tea. The alkaloids of kratom are fairly resistant to high temperatures, but still they should't boiled too long. Rather, gently simmer the herb over low heat. To increase the solubility of the alkaloids in water, add the juice of 1 lemon, or a pinch of citric acid if you have it at hand. This makes for an exceptionally tasty and relaxing treat, especially when used with added ingredients like honey or cinnamon!
