Regular Seed Means Males, and That's Exactly Why Breeders Buy It

Regular seed gives you both sexes. Rough rule of thumb: about half your plants come up male, and you sex them once pre-flowers show at the nodes, then decide what stays. That's the whole appeal if you're making crosses, hunting a keeper pheno, or holding a mother for cuttings, because pollen has to come from somewhere. Watch out for the obvious catch: you'll be growing plants you end up pulling, so a 15-seed pack doesn't mean 15 harvests. Mixes, Semi-Autos and What's Actually in Each Pack

A mix is a sampler, not a strain. Auto Tao Mix 2 holds 15 seeds drawn from six lineages, Super Auto Tao, CBD Haze Auto, Early Top Tao, Big Auto Tao, Haze Auto Tao and Auto Tao Blueberry, plus seed from three Top Tao strains that aren't out yet. Auto Tao Mix 1 works the same way around the breeder's older genetics. Semi Auto Mix is smaller and tighter, 6 seeds from three genetics with Big Auto Tao and Super Auto Tao among them. Different lineages in one pack means the plants won't finish on the same day, so label your pots and plan a staggered harvest instead of one big cut.

Semi-auto deserves its own line. Super Auto Tao sits between photoperiod and autoflowering: it flowers fast like an auto but without the compressed vegetative window, so it takes topping and training much better than a standard auto. Autos get their short cycle from ruderalis genes, which is also why they cope with a short summer outdoors.
