Natural Sex Supplements and Aphrodisiacs

The thing that trips people up in this category is not which plant to pick, it is which strength. Most of these herbs are sold three ways, and a gram of 25x extract is not the same purchase as 50g of shredded leaf. Start here and the rest is easy.

What are natural sex supplements?

They are plants and nutrient blends traditionally taken to support desire and energy. Oysters and chocolate are the folklore version; what we stock is the herbal one, plus a few formulated capsules built around vitamins and minerals. None of it is medicine and none of it is a prescription product. Read them as traditional botanicals with a long history, not as a fix.

The herbs, and how strong each form is

Maca

Peruvian root, and the most food-like thing here. The raw powder comes in 80g and tastes malty and nutty enough to disappear into a smoothie. If that is not your thing, the capsules give 1500mg of maca root across three vegan HPMC capsules.

Damiana

A Central American shrub, sold as 80g of shredded leaf or powder. Brewed as a tea it is properly bitter and aromatic, which is why most people blend it rather than drink it neat. There is also a 10x extract in 5g if you would rather not brew anything.

Ashwagandha

The adaptogen of the group, and the one that also sits in our relaxation range. Available as 50g of shredded root or powder, or as a 300mg 4:1 extract capsule with 60 to a pot.

Muira puama

Amazonian wood, sometimes called potency wood. The 50g bags come shredded or powdered, and there is a 25x extract for a much smaller, much stronger dose.

Single herb or a formulated blend

Two products here do the work of five jars. Libido Support puts muira puama 300mg plus a 10:1 extract at 240mg, panax ginseng 270mg, ginkgo biloba 120mg and tribulus 75mg into three capsules, along with 15mg of zinc, and the pot lasts 30 days. Potency Pills go the nutrient route instead: 25mg zinc and 200mcg selenium with vitamins C, E, B6, B12 and folate. Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction and to maintaining normal testosterone levels in the blood, and selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis, which is why both minerals turn up here rather than as an afterthought.

How and when to take them

Loose herbs and powders are a daily habit, so give them weeks rather than an evening. The 4-capsule packs are the opposite: Sex-E and Blue Pleasure come four to a box, which makes them a one-off rather than a routine, and Boner Booster contains caffeine while Sex-E does not. One honest note on the capsules: our L-Arginine Capsules use a gelatin shell, so they are not vegan, whereas the maca capsules use plant-based HPMC.
