Amnesia Haze is much more than a Dutch classic, it's easily one of the most popular hybrids on the planet. Keep reading to learn why.

Tangy-sweet citrus flavours and an uplifting, psychedelic high are what garnered Amnesia Haze its international fame. While it started off as an Amsterdam coffeeshop favourite, Amnesia Haze is now a household name among smokers all around the globe.

A cross between Amnesia and Haze, Amnesia Haze is a top-shelf strain. It produces impressive yields both indoors and out, boasts rich flavours and aromas, and produces a unique psychedelic euphoria that you’ll be hard-pressed to find in another variety.

Amnesia Haze’s first parent is Amnesia, a sativa-dominant hybrid with a very cloudy genetic background. Rumour has it that the original Amnesia was bred from Neville’s Haze and Enemy of The State, while others suggest it’s a unique Skunk and Cinderella '99 cross. Today, most breeders create their own variations of Amnesia using a variety of different genetics.

Amnesia Haze’s second parent is Haze, a renowned almost pure sativa loved for its energetic and uplifting high. Modern Haze strains are believed to originate from the West Coast of the United States and feature rich, complex aromas that combine spicy-sweet overtones with hints of citrus. The real origins of Haze, however, are unknown, and much of the information you’ll find about this strain is based on rumour and speculation.

Our unique Amnesia Haze brings together genetics with roots in South East Asia and Jamaica. It unleashes big flavours and aromas and a long-lasting, uplifting high with zero risk of couch-lock. While it’s not that easy to grow, our Amnesia Haze is well worth the effort. At harvest time, these plants will reward you with impressively big buds covered in a thick layer of trichomes.

Once you’ve germinated your Amnesia Haze seeds, you’ll want to keep your seedlings indoors in a warm, humid environment for two weeks. For best results, use a propagator like the Propagator Pro 2 or the Plagron Seedbox to create the perfect environment for your seedlings.

Two weeks after germination, your seedlings will be ready to move outdoors or into your grow room. Our Amnesia Haze performs well outdoors, where it’s capable of producing up to 650g/plant. Just remember that, with a 12+ week flowering phase, you’ll want to grow this strain in areas with a long-enough growing season and a mild fall.

Also, while Amnesia Haze can handle humidity and heat, avoid exposing it to excess humidity for prolonged periods of time to avoid issues with fungus and/or pests. Prune your plants regularly to promote proper airflow and use natural microbes early on to encourage strong, healthy roots.

If you’re an indoor grower, remember that Amnesia Haze is a relatively tall plant that likes to stretch. Consider switching from veg to bloom sooner than usual to limit vertical growth. You can also keep your plants at manageable heights by trimming them regularly, using LST, and planting in smaller pots. Ventilation is super important when growing these plants indoors, so make sure you invest in a quality fan and air filter to avoid hot pockets and stale air in your grow tent.

Amnesia Haze plants love their nutrients. Remember to feed them with good nitrogen-rich feed as they veg before switching to a phosphorus-rich solution for flowering. Also, keep a very close eye on your pH and EC counts as you feed your plants; due to their long life cycle, there’s a higher risk of sodium buildup in the soil.

After about 12–13 weeks of flowering, your Amnesia Haze plants will be loaded with super aromatic buds—up to 600g/m² indoors. For best results, trim your flowers while wet, and dry them slowly at about 17–21°C and 60% humidity in a well-ventilated space. Once dry, cure them for at least two weeks and get ready to toke on arguably one of the best strains out there.

If you’re a seasoned smoker, you might also enjoy Amnesia Haze during the day or early in the morning.
