Cheiro Roxa Seeds: Fruity purple peppers with a spicy side
Hailing from Brazil, the Cheiro Roxa is small in size but packs a pretty spicy and flavourful punch. With a similar appearance to that of the habanero, Cheiro Roxa grows to around an inch in length with a gradually tapered end but slightly squashed sides. Where it differs in appearance is its purple/pink colour, giving it a unique look that's sure to stand out amongst other pepper plants.
Reaching a potential 80,000 SHU, Cheiro Roxa offers heat that, while won't have users suffering, will still be enough to warm all those that try it. Not only content with providing heat, you can also expect a fruity flavour that tastes a little more on the bitter side. It's perfect for salsas, curries or just adding a little flavourful spice when a dish calls for it.
In terms of growing, Cheiro Roxa makes the perfect cultivation companion. As a plant that rarely exceeds 90cm and takes around 90 days to mature, you'll have access to some great tasting chillies before you know it.
