Dioxide, the creator of Timewreck told Subcool he would come up with a new name before it was released, but was probably too distracted from smoking it, so he never did. That is why this variety was called Timewreck - that is allegedly the story behind its name. But it really lives up to its name because the high is so intense that you might find yourself in a time bubble.
TGA Subcool - Timewreck: Smells like kiwis buried in dirt
Allegedly this variety has been named Timewreck because Dioxide, the creator of this strain, told Subcool he would come up with a new name before it was released, but he never did - he was probably too distracted from smoking it. But what we know for certain, is that its ancestors are a female Blood Wreck (Chernobyl x Qrazy Train) and a male Vortex (Apollo 13 x Space Queen). The resulting hybrid is incredibly aromatic variety satisfying both of Subcool's goals of enhancing the taste of Blood Wreck while achieving strong medicinal effects.
Timewreck is a variety with a share of 70% Sativa in the genetics and is suited for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. She is easy to grow and produces a great yield when topped and trained into a plant with at least four branches. After 60-70 days of flowering the plants have developed large, elongated, pointy buds covered in a layer of trichomes and permeated by dark purple leafs.
The ripe buds exude a pungent scent of rotten fruit that is best described as kiwis buried in dirt. The taste of the smoke is a blend of lemon, sandalwood, lime, pear or kiwi with a sour undertone. The potency of this strain is definitely not for rookies! At lower dosages the induced high is an uplifting and energetic cerebral kick, but at higher doses you'll find yourself trapped in a time bubble. The mind is numb and you won't be able to keep your mind from wandering while staring at something or absolutely nothing with a blank look on your face while lost in deep thought.
No miracle why this extremely potent variety was also a cup winner at the 2010 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup.
