Dulce de leche is a sweet South American delicacy made of milk, sugar, and vanilla. It also happens to be an exceptionally sweet-tasting autoflowering strain by VIP Seeds. Dulce De Leche was created by crossing the Spanish legend Cream Caramel with Afghan beauty Maple Leaf Indica, and as a final step, with Ruderalis genetics. Ready for harvest in 55-65 days from seed, and rich in THC: 17-20%!
VIP Seeds – Dulce De Leche: Sweet flavours of creamy caramel
Dulce De Leche is the right strain for those with a sweet tooth. It combines the remarkably sweet-tasting Spanish strain Cream Caramel with Maple Leaf Indica, a sturdy old-school variety from the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. VIP Seeds then crossed the result with Russian Ruderalis genetics to establish the autoflowering trait - Dulce De Leche was brought to life.
This strain finishes a short autoflowering life cycle of 55-65 days from seed. Indoor yields of up to 350g/m² can be realized, and outdoor growers will harvest up to 60g per plant. Dulce De Leche is indica dominant with 60%, and stays rather short throughout its life. Indoor growers can achieve the greatest yields by planting a high number of plants per m² using the Sea of Green method.
Flavours of Dulce De Leche are very sweet and greatly influenced by Cream Caramel. Maple Leaf Indica, the other basis plant for this crossing, is also known for having a sweet taste, with hints of incense and citrus. Fusing these two super-sweet flavour profiles into one resulted in an intense sweetness and a unique aroma. THC levels were tested at 17-20% - remarkably high for an autoflowering strain!
When sweet flavours and autoflowering genetics are on your shopping list, VIP Seeds advises that you get out your pen and add DULCE DE LECHE, in capital letters, to that list. This strain truly delivers in terms of sugary goodness, and will be an excellent choice for anyone who admires sticky buds and a creamy, candy-like taste.
