Zamnesia Seeds - Panama Red: A Stimulating Sativa Landrace
Panama Red stands as one of the most iconic landrace strains available. This Central American gem delivers an invigorating experience and tantalizing flavors of grapefruit and spice. Originating in the 1960s, Panama Red quickly gained popularity among servicemen, travelers, and strain hunters during the hippie era, leading to its widespread recognition in the United States and beyond. As a pure sativa landrace, this variety exhibits slender leaflets, lengthy internodes, and can reach impressive heights both indoors and outdoors.
To successfully cultivate Panama Red, ample space is essential. Early and consistent training can help manage its size, although this may impact overall yield. Indoor plants can reach up to 79 inches if left to grow naturally, with potential yields of up to 3.3 ounces per square foot. Implementing Low Stress Training (LST) can maintain a height of around 55 inches. Outdoors, plants can grow up to 138 inches and yield approximately 1 pound per plant. Anticipate the beginning of bud processing after a flowering period of 10–13 weeks for indoor cultivation, with an outdoor harvest time in late October or early November. For optimal results, transplant seedlings to a sunny location in nutrient-rich soil.
With a potency of 17%, Panama Red offers a gentle uplift in mood and mental motivation, accompanied by robust notes of citrus, spice, and grapefruit. This legendary landrace is a great choice when you have a list of objectives to accomplish!

looks strong and growing fast.
Poor seeds
Planted three only one came up and it was so weak it didn't even get its first set of leaves. They also stop giving XP right before your about to level to bear.
Looks solid so far
I started them in hydro, but switched to soil while vegphase cause my system didnt finish in time.
Im at end of Flowering week 10 now, the thing is they dont have any red hair at all ... Makes me Question some things.
I topped and lst'ed them into some sort of Mainlining to keep the plants small.
Trichomes look good., probably going to harvest next week.
easy grow
this is another old-timer that can be a little finicky
be careful not to over fertalize they are prone to nutriiant lock
remember they were grown in reginel soil that can be hared to match
but its all worth it for all us old hippys
Nice, promising strain
Was very excited bout that strain, unfortunately I failed at nurturing the plant. Will try again!
