Zamnesia Seeds - Panama Red: A Stimulating Sativa Landrace
Panama Red is one of the most legendary landrace strains available. This Central American classic serves up a stimulating high and moreish flavours of grapefruit and spice. Panama Red emerged onto the scene back in the 1960s. Servicemen, travellers, and intentional strain hunters were the first westerners to sample these buds during the hippie era, and it didn’t take long for these genetics to become established in the United States and elsewhere. As a pure sativa landrace, this variety features thin leaflets and long internodes, and reaches towering heights both indoors and outdoors.
First things first; you need to make sure you have ample room if you want to grow Panama Red. Early and rigorous training helps to keep the strain relatively compact, but this can result in reduced yields. Indoor plants naturally grow to 200cm when left unchecked, and produce up to 350g/m². To keep her around 140cm, you’ll need to utilise LST throughout the growing cycle. Outdoors, plants surge up to 350cm and produce around 450g/plant. Prepare to start processing buds after a flowering time of 10–13 weeks indoors, with an outdoor harvest in late October or early November. For the best results, transplant seedlings into a sunny spot in fertile soil.
Panama Red's THC content of 17% serves up a mild cerebral high, and each hit comes with pungent notes of citrus, spice, and grapefruit. This legendary landrace will instantly elevate your mood and motivate your mind. Spark up these buds when you have a list of goals that need ticking off!

Looks solid so far
I started them in hydro, but switched to soil while vegphase cause my system didnt finish in time.
Im at end of Flowering week 10 now, the thing is they dont have any red hair at all ... Makes me Question some things.
I topped and lst'ed them into some sort of Mainlining to keep the plants small.
Trichomes look good., probably going to harvest next week.
easy grow
this is another old-timer that can be a little finicky
be careful not to over fertalize they are prone to nutriiant lock
remember they were grown in reginel soil that can be hared to match
but its all worth it for all us old hippys
Nice, promising strain
Was very excited bout that strain, unfortunately I failed at nurturing the plant. Will try again!
So far so good
Only got 3 seeds and am trying 1 seed with other another sativa for a screen of green grow. The one seed popped and looks healthy in its early stages. I’m happy so far and will update later.
