Panama Red is one of the most legendary landrace strains available. This Central American classic serves up a stimulating high and moreish flavours of grapefruit and spice. Panama Red emerged onto the scene back in the 1960s. Servicemen, travellers, and intentional strain hunters were the first westerners to sample these buds during the hippie era, and it didn’t take long for these genetics to become established in the United States and elsewhere. As a pure sativa landrace, this variety features thin leaflets and long internodes, and reaches towering heights both indoors and outdoors.
First things first; you need to make sure you have ample room if you want to grow Panama Red. Early and rigorous training helps to keep the strain relatively compact, but this can result in reduced yields. Indoor plants naturally grow to 200cm when left unchecked, and produce up to 350g/m². To keep her around 140cm, you’ll need to utilise LST throughout the growing cycle. Outdoors, plants surge up to 350cm and produce around 450g/plant. Prepare to start processing buds after a flowering time of 10–13 weeks indoors, with an outdoor harvest in late October or early November. For the best results, transplant seedlings into a sunny spot in fertile soil.

Started this seed about 10 days ago. She is showing some excellent growth and looks as if she will good results. I plan to use some LST on her to increse her potential bud development. Will add more after she grows some more.

Leider musste ich dadurch 3 bis 4 Wochen früher ernten, was aber anhand der trichome kein Problem dargestellt hat.
Ich wollte malneine 100% sativa Landrasen machen Outdoor und es aht sich gelohnt . 8 colas Mainlining problemlos. Das war eine Augenweide!.
