Jack The Ripper is comprised of a combination of not less than seven different cannabis varieties! And more than one of those is widely known; the legendary Northern Lights, the renowned Jack Herer and the famed Romulan for example. This killer weed has a well deserved name - it sneaks up to you and then cuts through your train of thought with no mercy. Remarkably heavy resin production.
TGA Subcool - Jack The Ripper: Killer weed with a well deserved name
Jack The Ripper carries the genes of not less than seven different cannabis varieties in itself! Simply listing them all will probably not ring a bell, but I'll do it anyways. Jack The Ripper is comprised of Pluton, Purple Haze, Lambsbread, Northern Lights, Jack Herer, Romulan and Cinderella 99. OK, some of those names are more than widely known, but as soon as you read Jacks Cleaner and Space Queen a whole carillon starts to chime, right?
Jacks Cleaner is a large, very high yielding Sativa variety with ultra white erect trichomes created by crossing the first four strains in the list with a male Jack Herer and some worship it as the holy grail of cannabis. It has a very intense citrusy, lemony and musky aroma and an overbearing lemon taste. Romulan and Cinderella 99 blended together resulted in Space Queen, a very potent strain with a taste that marinates the taste buds in exotic flavors of citrus and skunk. By combining those kick-ass varieties, TGA Subcool created a second to none killer weed that really deserves a martial name.
The plants perform best when not topped, but rather trimmed accurately. Grant them a long vegetative growth period to allow for the highest possible yields. Jack The Ripper starts producing resin remarkably early after switching to a 12/12 lighting schedule - some plants will show the first divine tear drops after only 12-14 days. And after 8-9 weeks you will be kneeling in awe. The trichomes are now not only covering the buds, but also all the leafs nearby. Jack The Ripper comes in two main phenotypes, both have the aroma of a Lemon Haze, but one of them has a smell with a more pronounced pine smell. The taste is the same as the aroma, but with a touch of mango and lingers on the tongue for a while.
Jack The Ripper should be approached with caution - the first toke may seem not really strong, but this vile stuff sneaks up from behind and then hits you hard, cutting through your train of thought without mercy. The high is very intense and heady and causes serious cases of having the munchies. If you smoke more you will also feel the sweet body numbing effect.
