Skunk Afghani is a great choice for beginners who want to test their skills on a crossbreeding that has proven to be high yielding and resistant. Indoors you can expect this hybrid to deliver a harvest of large and tightly packed, very resinous buds amounting to about 450g/m² after only 50-65 days, but be aware of the "skunky" aroma, so you better check your ventilation and filters!
Original Sensible Seeds - Skunk Afghani: High yielding beginner-friendly hybrid
Skunk Afghani is a great crossbreeding of Indica and Sativa that has proven its beginner-friendly qualities, but experienced growers and lovers of old school varieties will be pleased by the results as well. Plants raised from these feminized seeds are robust and have a good resistance to adverse weather. In response to lower temperatures, the buds take on reddish/purple hues at the end of the flowering time. The end product boasts with a THC level of 19% and the typical Skunk flavor.
In an indoor set-up the plants reach a height of 60-100cm and require only 50-65 days to develop a generous harvest. The plants are robust, have a sturdy stem and lush green leaves that represent a nice contrast to the lime-green buds with their abundance of orange-brown pistils. An average yield amounts to 450g/m² of large, tightly packed and very resinous buds. A good ventilation system and filters are a must, because the plants exude an intense skunky aroma.
Outdoors you should be aware of the smell and the height these plants can reach - 3 meters are absolutely possible, so guerrilla growing is not really an option. In the northern hemisphere you can expect the plants to be ready for harvesting in October.
