Tryptophan is an amino acid and an essential one in human diet (meaning it cannot be synthesized by the body but must be eaten). Besides being a building block in protein synthesis, tryptophan functions as a biochemical precursor for the neurotransmitter serotonin and niacin (vitamin B3).

Si quelqu'an d'autre se pose la question : ce sont des capsules contenant 1 gramme (1000mg) de L-tryptophane ! (Plus 20mg de B6 et 10mg de B3), et le flacon en contient 90, du coup c'est un prix assez imbattable; ce qu'on trouve ailleurs c'est généralement des flacons de 60 capsules de 200 à 500 mg.
