The Zamnesia Carbon Filter Air Purifier 150 mm is designed for larger indoor grow ventilation systems. It neutralises unwanted odours and filters airborne particles before air leaves the grow space. Used together with a 150 mm inline duct fan, it filters outgoing air, captures airborne contaminants, and helps reduce odour leakage in high-airflow setups.

Designed for odour control in larger grow tents

In enclosed grow spaces, warm air, humidity, and plant aromas build up quickly. This filter helps manage those conditions by reducing odours at the extraction point while trapping fine airborne impurities such as dust, spores, and pollen. The result is cleaner exhaust air and a more stable, discreet growing environment.

Premium activated carbon filtration

The core of the Zamnesia Carbon Filter consists of high-quality Australian activated charcoal, known for its strong adsorption capacity. Its porous structure efficiently captures odour molecules as air passes through the carbon bed.

When the filter is properly matched with a compatible fan and maintained correctly, it provides reliable odour control over multiple grow cycles.

Two sizes for proper fan matching

This 150 mm filter is available in two length options, each designed for specific airflow capacities:

• Ø150 × 300 mm: up to 520 m³/h
• Ø150 × 350 mm: up to 600 m³/h

Both models are intended for use with a 150 mm inline duct fan and are well suited to medium and larger grow tents, particularly setups larger than 100 × 100 cm.

Correct sizing is important. Excess airflow can reduce the contact time between odours and the carbon, while insufficient airflow can affect ventilation efficiency. Matching fan output with the filter capacity ensures balanced airflow, effective odour control, and longer carbon life.

Aluminium housing for continuous use

The filter features a durable aluminium housing that remains lightweight enough for hanging installations while still being strong enough for continuous use in typical grow-room environments.

This makes it suitable for humid grow tents and long lighting cycles where ventilation systems operate continuously.

Each filter includes the components needed for a practical and stable installation:

• Cotton pre-filter sleeve (installed)
• One additional replacement pre-filter sleeve
• Silicone connector to reduce vibration and prevent air leaks
• Rope ratchets for secure hanging and easy height adjustment

The cotton pre-filter traps dust and debris before they reach the carbon layer, helping maintain airflow and extending the lifespan of the filter. The silicone connector reduces vibration and air leakage, while rope ratchets allow quick positioning adjustments.

Maintenance

The cotton pre-filter sleeve is washable. Regular cleaning helps prevent dust buildup that could restrict airflow and shorten the filter’s lifespan.

Installation

The filter can be mounted inside or outside the grow tent depending on the available space. For best performance, keep ducting reasonably short, avoid unnecessary bends, and ensure airtight connections so air flows efficiently through the carbon filter.
