Klip Dagga (Leonotis nepetifolia) is a tall annual herb in the Lamiaceae (mint) family, native to tropical Africa and southern India and now naturalised across tropical and subtropical regions worldwide. Its upright stems bear whorled clusters of spiky orange flowers in a candelabra-like arrangement, which is why it is also called Christmas Candlestick. Other common names include Lion's Ear, Shandilay (Trinidad), and Grantiparani (India). The plant has a long history of traditional use in Africa and the Caribbean. The species contains leonurine, an alkaloid found across the Leonotis genus. This product consists of dried leaves and flowers.
Brewing Klip Dagga as a Tea
The most straightforward way to use dried Klip Dagga is as a tea. Add approximately 5g of dried leaves and flowers to a cup, pour over hot water, and allow to steep for several minutes. I don't use tobacco so this is a great alternative as a filler. It can be a little dry on the throat but it does not affect the taste at all.

Livré sous forme de poudre et petites branches, pas idéal si on recherche un substitut au tabac. Ca dépend de la quantité en réalité, c'est très agréable à "ajouter" dans un joint, histoire de soupoudrer pour que ça tasse mieux. Personnellement j'utilise du Ginko et/ou d'autres substituts sans nicotine comme substitut au tabac et j'y ajoute un peu de Klip Dagga quand je veux mettre moins de cannabis dans mes joints.
