If you’re looking for a strain that thrives in any environment and won’t require much care, then take a look at Ruderalis Indica® by Sensi Seeds. It’s a regular (non-feminized) strain created by crossing Ruderalis with an Indica. However, it’s more precise to refer to it as a semi-autoflowering strain, meaning that 50% of females express the autoflowering trait. Extremely sturdy and easy-to-grow!
Sensi Seeds – Ruderalis Indica®: One of the most robust strains available
Ruderalis Indica® by Sensi Seeds combines genetics of several Ruderalis landraces from Eastern Europe with potent Indica genetics. Ruderalis genetics are well known for their ability to thrive in nearly any environment and induce their flowering period by age instead of being dependent on a changing light cycle. One of the major drawbacks of Ruderalis landraces is a rather low THC content. Sensi Seeds got a grip on this issue by crossbreeding the results with a THC-rich Indica and thus created an acceptable compromise between robustness and potency.
Ruderalis Indica® is a unique hybrid that is neither a regular strain nor a typical autoflowering variety. It’s a semi-autoflowering (non-feminized) strain, meaning that around 50% of the female plants will begin to develop flowers by age, which usually takes place when the 5th to 7th set of leaves becomes visible, and the other 50% begin to flower in accordance with the amount of light hours per day. Ruderalis Indica® will also produce males. Outdoor growers and novices won’t find a strain that is any more resilient or faster. Easy-to-grow is an understatement in this case. Colder climates and short summers won’t be an issue due to a very short flowering period of 40-50 days.
The effects of Ruderalis Indica® are mainly relaxing and greatly influenced by 90% Indica genetics together with comparatively high CBD levels captured from Ruderalis. Smoking this variety on a day-to-day basis is thinkable because of a physically calming stone and the absence of overpowering psychoactive effects caused by high THC levels. It’s a functional strain that is enjoyable without the risk of much impairment regarding daily activities and duties, hence a viable option for other than recreational use.
Even though Ruderalis Indica® is not the best strain to reach an incredibly strong high, there are good reasons for growing this strain. Especially novices and outdoor growers in harsh conditions have much to gain. If you’re willing to compromise a little bit on THC and rather prefer reliability, sturdiness, and remarkably fast results, then don’t hesitate to give Ruderalis Indica® a chance.
