What Makes a Good Weed Lighter?

Three things decide it. First, the flame type: a soft round flame is kind to joints, while a jet flame is for bowls and dabs. Jet Flames and Torches: Serious Heat

A torch lighter blasts a pressurised blue jet that hisses like a tiny rocket and laughs at wind. That's the tool for bong bowls, fat blunt tips, and dabbing, where a soft flame simply can't get a titanium nail hot enough.
