Please note: You are currently on the instructions page for "Zamnesia SUPREME" grow kit. Please be aware that "Zamnesia", "Ready-2-Grow Bag", and "Copelandia" grow kits each have their own instructions.
Growing mushrooms at home with a Zamnesia SUPREME Grow Kit is simple, fast, and designed for reliable results. Each kit contains a fully colonised substrate, meaning you can skip complicated preparation and focus on creating the right environment.
With proper care, your kit can deliver multiple flushes of fresh mushrooms with minimal effort.
Zamnesia SUPREME kits are ready to grow immediately, so avoid unnecessary interference:
Because the substrate is already fully colonised, the kit naturally regulates moisture at the start.
As Zamnesia SUPREME Grow Kits are fresh, ready-to-use products, it’s best to begin cultivation as soon as possible after receiving them.
If you need to delay the process, the kit can be stored in a refrigerator at 3–5°C. Under these conditions, it may remain usable for up to 4 weeks, although this cannot be guaranteed.
To reduce the risk of contamination, always keep the kit sealed inside a clean plastic bag while stored.
Step 1: Prepare the kitRemove the grow kit from its packaging and keep the cardboard box for later use. Take off the lid, rinse it under clean water, and store it safely, as you’ll need it again for future flushes. |
Step 2: Insert into the grow bagPlace the grow bag flat and slide the Zamnesia SUPREME kit inside. Fold the bag neatly underneath the container and ensure the micro-perforation sits just above the substrate, facing upward. Place everything back into the cardboard box to block side light and stabilise conditions. |
Step 3: Create the right environmentPosition your kit in a bright area with indirect daylight only. Keep the temperature between 18–28°C, with 23°C being ideal for best results. Avoid direct sunlight at all times, as it can dry out and damage the substrate. Note: A heat mat can support the growing process in colder environments, but it won’t fully compensate for a room that is too cold. |
Step 4: Pinning stageAfter 1–3 weeks, small pins (baby mushrooms) will begin to form. At this stage, place the grow bag upright and do not spray water. Under the right conditions, mushrooms will continue developing naturally. |
Step 5: Growth & humidity controlOnce the caps become visible, slightly open the grow bag to allow excess moisture to escape and prevent heavy condensation buildup. The first pinheads commonly appear within 1–3 weeks, and once caps have formed, full development typically takes around 1 week. |
Step 6: Prepare for the next flushAfter harvesting, fill the container with cold water to cold-shock the substrate, close it with the lid, and leave it to soak for 12 hours. Drain away any excess water and restart from the setup stage to begin another flush. |
Harvest just before the veil beneath the cap begins to tear.
Waiting too long leads to:
Harvesting slightly early is better than too late.
Zamnesia SUPREME Grow Kits are designed to do most of the work for you; your role is simply to maintain the right conditions and let nature take over.
