Spanish Breeders With a Soft Spot for Fast Autos

Buddha Seeds are Spanish breeders, and the line-up we carry leans hard on autoflowering genetics. Deimos Auto comes out of the old Northern Lights, inbred for seven generations until she ran fully auto. Red Dwarf Auto is White Dwarf crossed with a strong Skunk and then backcrossed, which is where the louder smell comes from. White Dwarf herself came from two heavy indicas with a touch of ruderalis. On the CBD side, Medikit and Medikit Auto both trace back to a backcrossed Californian Harlequin sativa paired with a Latin American CBD indica. So "buddha cannabis", as people type it, means fast, compact, mostly indica-leaning plants. Watch out for the flip side of that speed: an auto gives you no time to fix a mistake, and a stunted week is a week you never get back.

The Dwarf Line: Plants You Can Keep Out of Sight

White Dwarf stays small, grows fast and shrugs off a fair bit of grower error, which is why we point first-timers at her. Red Dwarf Auto keeps that same compact shape with a stronger smell and flavour, and she goes from seed to harvest in roughly two months. Deimos Auto is the bushy one, stopping at 70-80 cm with fat nugs on the main stem and the branches; through flowering she gives off a sweet, herbal smell that's genuinely pleasant in a room, though pleasant is still noticeable, so budget for a carbon filter. Syrup Auto wraps up in about 60 days from seed with sweet buds, and Purple Kush Auto fills out the compact group.

Magnum, Morpheus and Medikit: The Volume End

Magnum is the heavyweight of this shelf, a three-way cross built purely around production, done in around 75 days from seed. Indoors, keep her in smaller pots to hold the growth back. Morpheus takes about 65 days of flowering indoors and turns into a monster outdoors, 1000-1500 g per plant, ready in early October up north and early April down south, with almost black buds under a heavy frost of white trichomes and a citrus-sweet, earthy taste. Medikit runs a 75-day flowering phase, up to 480 g/m² indoors, and sits under 1% THC with lemon, orange and mango on the palate. Medikit Auto does the same job on an auto clock in 75 days, 450-480 g/m² indoors and around 80 g per plant outside, with some phenos measuring over 20% CBD.

What We'd Put in the Tent First

First grow, small space, no gear beyond a light: two White Dwarf and nothing fancy, no topping. Chasing weight in a garden bed instead: Morpheus outdoors, because nothing else here comes near 1000-1500 g per plant. After a high-CBD number on the lab sheet: Medikit Auto, with Morpheus as the balanced 1:1 option and Medikit as the photoperiod version.
