Vase Bong (Hemper)

A Small Glass Piece That Just Works

The Vase Bong (Hemper) is built for the daily grind, not the display shelf. Its glass body stands 18cm tall with a 9cm base, wide enough to sit steady on a desk or nightstand without tipping if you knock the table. The vase shape keeps the footprint small, so it slides into a bag corner or a cupboard shelf without a fuss. Inside, an angled downstem paired with a slit ball perc breaks up the smoke as it passes through, giving each pull a diffused, cooled feel rather than a harsh straight shot. The 14mm joint is one of the two common sizes, so replacement bowls and accessories are easy to track down. At 3mm, the glass is on the thinner side, so treat it with the same care you would any glass piece, a hard knock or a rough pack will do more damage than it would on a heavier tube. Rinse it out after each session and it stays clear and grime-free with none of the fiddly disassembly some multi-part pieces demand. It won't out-cool a tree-perc showpiece, but for a grab-and-go daily piece that looks clean on a table and travels without drama, it does the job without asking much in return.
