The truffles took about 2 hours to kick in with a slightly empty stomach. The effect for me was that I was very locked in on the TV watching trippy stuff, and my partner was very talkative and active. They cause quite a bit of stomach discomfort in the beginning, but it goes away fast.
The effect is nice but don’t expect it to be “romantic”, if you do it with a partner.
