MVP mushrooms produce two distinct phenotypes:
- One resembling traditional Penis Envy, with long, slender stems and bell-shaped caps.
- A second variety with stockier, baubular stems and rounded caps.
MVP mushrooms transform as they mature, developing chalk-white stems and rich brown caps that turn a soft golden colour as they approach harvest. Despite descending from True Albino Teacher, MVP does not carry the albino trait and produces clean, sporeless mushrooms that are easy to handle come harvest time. 5 Star company and brilliant grow bags. The MVP is by far my favourite as it’s easy to grow and has high yields. The first flush gives you about 60% of the total weight and the 2nd flush around 30%. There seems to be at least 2 different strains of mushroom in the bags. I’d love to know more about the strains.

When the first flush was ready, I just couldn't believe my eyes. The mushrooms were so big, so numerous and so tightly packed that there was not a single free cubic centimetre in the bag. I haven't tried them yet but they bruised a lot, guess they're quite strong. I can't wait to see how the next flushed will be
Bag quality decreased
Last time i bought this bag it was made my Mykolab, the bag was way bigger an better quality, now it comes without any Mykolab sticker, it's so much smaller, but the amount of substrate is about the same, so they do have like half of space to grow. Will se how it goes.
Black mold
À big black mold is colonising my substrate faster then the mycélium, this is gonna be great, I would love to share picture, it will not produce and even if it does, the health concern is not worse it..
