A smartshop sells the botanicals themselves: herbs, extracts, nootropics and ethnobotanical plants that a pharmacy will not stock and a coffeeshop does not carry. Smartshop, headshop or coffeeshop

These three get mixed up constantly. A coffeeshop is a Dutch cafe licensed to sell cannabis over the counter, which is not something we do. A headshop sells the hardware, so grinders, bongs, vaporizers and papers. A smartshop sells the plants and extracts themselves. If you are after the gear rather than the botanicals, you want the headshop instead.

Kratom is the deepest single category we have at 34 products, sold as powder, capsules and extracts. It tastes genuinely bitter and earthy, which is why most people wash it down rather than sip it. Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is the opposite kind of plant: a South African succulent that leaves a faint numbing tingle on the tongue.

Nootropics and microdosing

Nootropics covers focus and memory blends, while Microdosing holds 42 products built around small, measured amounts rather than a full experience. Start with the microdosing category if you want structure and a schedule rather than a single big session.

Relaxation, sleep and dream herbs

Relaxing runs to 50 products, and Dream Herbs covers the plants traditionally taken before sleep to sharpen dream recall. Our Herbal Tea range is the gentlest way in at 81 blends.

Ethnobotanicals and ritual plants

The classics live here: Salvia divinorum, Mescaline Cacti, Blue Lotus and LSA Seeds. These are the strongest things on the page and the least forgiving, so read the individual product pages properly before ordering.

What we do not sell here

Entheogens with a psilocybin content sit in a different part of the shop, not this one. If you came looking for magic truffles, they live next door under magic mushrooms. This page covers the herbal energizers, mood plants and nootropics instead, which is the traditional Amsterdam smartshop split and the one we have kept.

We are online only. Our address in Schijndel is an office, not a shop, so there is nothing to visit and no counter to walk up to. Choosing your first one

Two questions settle most of it. Do you want something you take once and feel properly, or something you take on a schedule and barely notice? And do you want a dried herb or an extract? Extracts are concentrated, so a 10x kanna extract is not a slightly stronger version of the dried leaf, it is a different proposition entirely and wants a much smaller amount.
