Reserva Privada is always good for a surprise and this time they revived an old variety - Tangerine Dream, which was first made available in 1995. The "Tangerine man" Crocket kept the mother plant alive and now it was time to re-release this blend of Cali Orange and Skunk. The resinous buds with their characteristic tangerine citrus aroma will make Tangie your favorite in no time.
Reserva Privada - Tangie: Revival of the famous Cali Orange and Skunk blend
Reserva Privada is always good for a surprise, but this time, other than for their kick-ass Kush varieties and Kush hybrids, they teamed up with their buddy Crocket420, who is also known as the "Tangerine Man", to revive an old strain. Crocket had kept his Tangerine Dream mother plant alive throughout almost two decades and now he teamed up with Reserva Privada and together they re-released it, now as The Tangie.
The Tangie is a very appealing blend of Cali Orange and Skunk with a strong Sativa dominance; the genetic background in plain figures: 70% Sativa, 30% Indica. The strong Sativa influence brings about a lanky plant with a rather open structure, but topping and accurate pruning produces a more bushy plant. The Tangie grows pretty tall, so you better plan ahead when arranging your grow-room for her - or settle for the second option and plant her outdoors where she finishes late September early October. The Tangie adapts well to the SOG and ScrOG method as well.
Indoors you should expect a flowering time of 9-10 weeks before you can pluck the generous yield of very resinous and sticky buds with a beguiling aroma of tangerines and citrus. An average yield amounts to 450-550g/m² and the taste of the weed is simply incredibly delicious; concentrates made from The Tangie marijuana is said to be some of the best tasting stuff on this planet. A testament for the Tangie's quality is its extreme success in contests - within 8 months it has won 10 out of 10 contests it entered! Easy to see why this could become your favorite choice in no time.
