Who is Expert Seeds?

Expert Seeds is a breeding project run by growers who spent decades working with other people's genetics before releasing their own. You will also see them written as Expert Seedbank. What they are not is a novelty house: there are no regular seeds here and no one-off hype drops. All 33 strains we carry are feminized, and every one publishes its THC figure, flowering time and expected yield.

Why grow Expert Seeds genetics?

Autoflower focus and fast harvests

Thirteen of the 33 are autoflowering, carrying ruderalis in the cross. Northern Lights Auto is the quickest at 6 to 7 weeks from seed to harvest; Amnesia Haze Auto and Cheese Auto both land at 7 to 8. The remaining twenty are feminized photoperiod plants, where flowering runs 6 to 11 weeks.

High THC and heavy yields

THC spans 18 to 25 percent across the range, with seven strains at the 25 percent mark. Indoor yields run from 350 grams per square metre on New York Diesel Auto up to 700 on OGesus Auto, so read the figure rather than assuming the autos are the small ones.

The Gorilla line

This is the thread through the catalogue. Ten of the 33 descend from Gorilla Glue 4, and the differences between them are real rather than cosmetic. Gorilla Cookies crosses GG4 with Cookie Wreck for 25 percent THC over 9 to 10 weeks. Expert Gorilla Auto is the autoflowering route to the same lineage, 23 percent and ready in 8 to 9 weeks from seed, yielding up to 600 grams per square metre. Blueberry Glue Auto puts Blueberry over GG4 and is the biggest producer of the three at 650. ZkittleZ Glue is the outlier: 23 percent THC and an easy grow, but it tops out at 350 grams per square metre, so pick it for the flavour, not the weight.

Beyond the Gorillas

Lemon Haze Auto comes out of Super Silver Haze and Lemon Skunk, and it tastes like it reads, sweet citrus over a skunky, woody base. Sweet Zombie pairs Black Domina with Zombie Virus at 25 percent. And a word of warning on the photoperiod Amnesia Haze: it is the only strain here rated hard to grow and it wants 10 to 11 weeks of flowering, so it is a poor choice for a first run. Start with Northern Lights at 6 to 7 weeks instead.
