Regular seeds carry no genetic tweak: sow a pack and you get roughly half males and half females, exactly as cannabis reproduces in the wild. You sex them in early flower, keep the females for buds, and hold on to a male only if you plan to breed.
Both sexes are the whole point. With males in the room you can cross two strains, collect pollen and lock in a keeper as a mother plant. Old hands also reckon the genetics run more vigorous and stable than a feminized copy. It is more hands-on than a guaranteed-female pack, that is the honest trade, so if you only want a smokable harvest start with our feminized seeds.

Because you get both sexes, which is what you need to breed, collect pollen and keep a mother plant. The genetics also tend to be vigorous and stable.
Unmodified seeds that grow into both male and female plants, about a 50/50 split, just as cannabis reproduces naturally.
Check the nodes in early flower: females show fine white hairs, males form small round pollen sacs. Remove the males unless you plan to breed.
