Calibration Weight

300 mg too heavy; useless for calibration
My 200gr weight was delivered to me in a scuffed up state and is full of nicks. This did not bode well for its quality and accuracy. I have three different (!) scales with a 0,01gr accuracy and each of them shows me this weight to be 0,29gr - 0,32gr too heavy! But on the other hand my old (officially calibrated) set of weights produces nearly correct values. Two of those scales are new and are still precalibrated by the manufacturer. So its not the scales but this "calibration" weight... I wanted a single big weight just to make calibration less tricky by not having to put several weights on the rather small table of my scales. But unfortunately these weights are only useful for kitchen scales and NOT for precision scales! Zamnesia knows why they sell them without an actual accuracy rating in the description. It is pure luck if you get a correct reading or make your scale useless by "calibrating" it with this junk! Dont dose yourself with potent stuff if you only have these weights! It is dangerous to advertize these weights as "calibration weights"!
