Hindu Kush is a superb landrace strain stemming from the famous mountain range stretching between Pakistan and Afghanistan. These formidable indica genes became the basis for many modern strains. Loved for its thick layer of resin, this plant is robust and hardy, as it had to adapt to the harsh environment from which it stems. High THC levels and earthy aromas await.
Sensi Seeds’ Hindu Kush is a purebred Indica and only available as a regular, non-feminized seed. This highly stable Afghan genotype was created by selecting and crossbreeding the best-performing Hindu Kush landraces over countless generations of plants – consistent results, uniformity, and a short flowering time of 45-50 days are key properties. Exquisite Afghan hash flavours included!

Before breeders, before seedbanks, there was a mountain range full of squat, resinous plants. This page sells their direct descendants, and here is how to pick yours.
Hindu Kush is not a cross made in a lab; it is a landrace that evolved for centuries in the mountains straddling Afghanistan and Pakistan, where locals grew it for charas and hash long before Western breeders arrived. Its broad leaves, compact frame and thick trichome coat became the blueprint for what we now call an indica, and its genes sit inside OG Kush and half the Kush family tree.
Crumble a dried bud and you get earth, sandalwood and old-school hash, with ocimene and myrcene doing the work in the Sensi cuts. The stone is exactly what the mountain ordered: heavy, warm and body-first, an evening strain through and through. If OG Kush is your reference point, this is the same gravity without the citrus gloss.
Short internodes make Hindu Kush a natural for SOG setups and low tents. Zamnesia Seeds' Hindu Kush stays around 120 cm indoors and flowers in 8-9 weeks at 20% THC.
Mountain genes mean genuine hardiness: Sensi's feminized cut shrugs off cold, mould, pests and drought, so a mediocre Northern European summer will not scare it. One honest caveat: landraces are not yield monsters, expect up to 450 g/m² from the Zamnesia cut and modest, medium harvests from the Sensi line.
| Variant | Type | Flowering | Traits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hindu Kush (Zamnesia Seeds) | Feminized | 8-9 weeks | 20% THC, 450 g/m² |

| Hindu Kush Autoflower (Sensi Seeds) | Autoflower | 7-8 weeks from seed | Fastest route to harvest |
Breeders and old-school growers want the Sensi regular: males included, exactly as nature shipped it, and a rarity on modern shelves. First grow, pick the Autoflower, done just 7-8 weeks after sprouting. And if you want the landrace with a lab-tested number on the jar, the Zamnesia cut is the only one here that states its 20% THC. The rest of the mountain's descendants live in our Kush seeds family, alongside the full cannabis seeds range.
A pure indica landrace from the Hindu Kush mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan, grown there for centuries for hash making. It is a genetic parent of OG Kush and much of the modern Kush family.
Yes. The Sensi Seeds cuts are rated easy and genuinely hardy against cold, mould and pests. The autoflower finishes 7-8 weeks from seed, one of the fastest routes to a first harvest.
Zamnesia Seeds' cut tests at 20% THC. Sensi Seeds do not publish a number for their cuts; expect classic landrace potency with a heavy body effect rather than record-chasing strength.
Yes, Sensi Seeds' Hindu Kush regular is on this page, males and all, which makes it a favourite for breeders hunting authentic landrace genetics.
The photoperiod cuts flower in 7-9 weeks depending on the variant. The autoflower needs just 7-8 weeks from germination to harvest.
