How To Make A Magic Truffles Salad

It is often said that magic truffles should be consumed on an empty stomach, and it's true - but most users prefer to hide the bitter flavour by consuming them with food.

We've been coming up with healthy recipes that are mostly water - allowing for the truffles to digest easily. This recipe uses light ingredients that shouldn't affect your trip. Remember that heat can break down the psilocybin in your truffles, so make sure the salad is cold before adding the final ingredient. Have fun with this one!

150g mixed salad leaves

150g goat's cheese

30g pine nuts or walnuts

A good drizzle of toasted sesame oil

1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar

1 tsp fresh ground black pepper

1 tsp mustard

Magic truffles - you can adjust the dosage to your preference. We recommend using Hollandia truffles from our webstore.

1. Wash and dry your salad. Cut up any large leaves and mix them up. Place your salad in an ovenproof dish.

2. Gently toast your nuts in a frying pan until they are brown. Add them to the salad and give it a stir.

4. Add all of your dressing ingredients, and mix your salad well.

3. Cut the feta up into small pieces. Sprinkle them on top of the salad.

4. Place the whole thing under a hot grill for about 30-60 seconds. The cheese should start to melt.

5. Whilst you wait for it to cool down, it's time for the main event. Grind or chop up your truffles into small pieces and sprinkle them on top.

It's ready! This is a great, easy way to cover the taste of magic truffles, and it's healthy too - so you don't have to feel guilty about enjoying it. The salad is best consumed on an empty stomach, alone or in a natural setting with friends. Enjoy your trip!
