7mm is optimal
I bought the 6 mm extra slim filters out of curiosity but they cannot be reused as they are slimmer and get clogged after first use; I also found that the taste is harsher and throat is burning faster than with larger filters. To me the 7mm is optimal, it's not too big, filters well, and can be reused at least 3 times before getting clogged.
