Royal Queen Seeds - Shogun: An Elevating Sativa High

For a strain named after a Japanese imperial commander-in-chief, Shogun produces surprisingly peaceful and tranquil effects. In fact, her title is inspired by the razor-sharp focus and productivity catalysed by her high—traits very much valued on both the battlefield and while working on creative projects!

This fierce sativa stems from a breeding project designed to inject motivation and inspiration into the most mundane of days.

Amnesia Haze was selected to provide a solid sativa foundation, while Gorilla Glue (GG 4) was chosen to send THC levels through the roof. Together, they produced a highly productive and energising progeny. Shogun emerged with 70% sativa genetics, 30% indica, and a respectable THC content of 25%.

Shogun provides an impressive bounty both indoors and outdoors. She churns out large quantities of small buds laden with trichomes. She favours a warm climate but produces good results in most environments.

If you’re growing this lady indoors, expect her to peak at a height of 140cm. She’ll yield around 550–600g/m² after a flowering time of 9–11 weeks.

Outdoor growers can expect her to climb to a taller height of 190cm and pump out 650–750g/plant. Get ready to harvest your crop in late October.

Shogun’s sativa dominance and high THC level converge to produce a long-lasting feeling of motivation. Her high takes hold in an instant and sends the central nervous system into overdrive. You’ll feel the urge to get up and get things done. She makes a perfect smoke before writing, reading, making music, or attending a social event.

Weed-loving athletes also appreciate her ability to increase focus and ramp up attention span. Give her a whirl next time you hit the hiking trails or head to the gym!

These cerebral effects go hand in hand with pleasant tastes of earthiness and pine. Inhale these buds through a vape to really get a sense for her fresh, forest-like flavour.
