The Bolivian Torch (Echinopsis lageniformis) is one of the psychedelic cacti of South America that plays an important role in Shamanic rituals. It is similar in appearance to the San Pedro cactus but with fewer and wider ribs. Like the San Pedro cactus, the Bolivian Torch contains a number of psychoactive alkaloids including the powerful psychedelic compound Mescaline.

Echinopsis lageniformis commonly known as Bolivian Torch cactus has a long history of being used in religious and shamanic rituals in South America. The psychoactive compounds contained in the cactus, most importantly Mescaline induce altered states of consciousness with powerful visions.
In its natural growing habitat in the hot and humid climate of Bolivia, the Bolivian Torch can at times reach a height of 4.5 meters. With our fresh seeds you can now grow this sacred cactus easily at home. Once sprouted, the cactus needs very little water and only then when the soil has dried out.
Growing the Bolivian Torch from seed to flower isn’t too difficult if you just keep an eye on some cactus growing basics. For an optimal germination rate you should keep the growing environment moist but well ventilated. With commonly available cactus potting and soil mixes which you can get at any gardening store you will get good results.
The Bolivian Torch will grow into a green, columnar cactus with fragrant white flowers.

I got 22 seeds. I think I messed up trying to get the seeds to germinate as my tray had some mold (I guess too much moisture) but even then 4 seeds still germinated, cant wait to see them grow

In just over a month, 12 out of 14 seeds germinated. A few are developing their first spikes. Used the takeway TEK to germinate.
Worst cactii seeds on Zamnesia
Fra Peyote, San Pedro e Torcia Boliviana, gli ultimi sono stati i peggiori. Ne sono germinati solo 3 e sono rotti! Terriccio per piante grasse 50% perlite 50%, piccola serra in plastica

These naturally take a *very* long time to germinate and even when under ideal conditions, grown by an experienced gardener, only 70% of the seeds would be expected survive. Remember you're dealing with nature, not something that's come off a production line. The product is good.
