Lavender - One of the holy herbs used in the biblical Temple

Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) is a fragrant herb in the mint family with a long history of use. In ancient Greece lavender was called "Nardus", named after the Syrian city of Naarda. It was commonly also called "Nard" ("Nerd" in Hebrew), which is mentioned in the Song of Solomon (4,14) and was one of the holy herbs used in the biblical Temple to prepare the holy essence.

Traditionally, lavender is used in the form of oil, in salves and as a tea. Lavender is also used as a condiment in salad dressings, sauces, beverages, various teas and as a fragrance in cosmetics.

    muy suave, tiene un cierto efecto somnoliento. No es muy neutra en cuanto aroma y sabor, modifica bastante los aromas de la maria. Tomillo y romero son hojas más compactas y olor menos intenso.

    Toen ik een jaar geleden mijn vaporizer kocht zat er een zakje lavender bij die ik in de la gooide van dat is niks voor toen afgelopen week mijn wiet op was toch maar eens phoeberen en warempel het was lekker zacht en zoetig en het had nog een kalmerend effect dus ik was om bij zamnesia gelijk 2 zakken gekocht helaas wat een domper niks zacht en zoetig maar heel scherp en bitter echt ontzettend smerig Helaas had ik 2 zakken besteld die kunnen gelijk de prullenbak in absoluut geen aanrader
