this is a piece of rubber with a cute mushroom symbol. Not many things could go wrong. Works well with the heat mat.

Failed to protect from overheating
I used this spacer together with the heatmap from this shop. But apparently, the growkit got overheated regardless and the mycelium got killed, as the mushroom smell has completely disappeared and been replaced by something undefinable. (It has been alive before and delivered rich flushes before I set up the heatmap).

It is more useful than I thought
It keeps the grow kit distanced from the heat mat that, even with this pad, tends to get cooked on the bottom side (the kit becomes a little crispy). But the heat mat is a must have, during the winter to get abundant flushes.
