CHARACTERISTICS OF GORILLA ZKITTLEZ

Gorilla Zkittlez descends from a match made in high-THC heaven: Zkittlez and Gorilla Glue. These two West Coast cultivars passed down outrageous levels of THC and immense quantities of tasty terpenes.

Gorilla Zkittlez emerged from an ambitious breeding project that attempted to combine two of the strongest and tastiest new-school classics. Breeders wanted to harness the unparalleled terpene profile of Zkittlez and merge it with the enormous THC content found in Gorilla Glue. Zkittlez passed down its sugary tastes, and then some. This indica-dominant parent strain inherited its diverse and complementary flavours from two of the tastiest cultivars on the planet: Grape Ape and Grapefruit.

Breeders added Gorilla Glue to the equation to deliver a knock-out indica blow. The strain gained notoriety within the cannabis seeds community for its outlandish THC level and its stoning and euphoric high. A combination of Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel gave rise to this specimen. No stranger to success, Gorilla Glue received two 1st place Cannabis Cup wins and won the High Times Jamaican World Cup.

HOW TO GROW GORILLA ZKITTLEZ

Gorilla Zkittlez provides a generous yield. Like, really generous. Indoors and outdoors, its canopy becomes heavy with fat, frosty buds. You’ll find yourself counting down the days until you can finally taste the terpenes wafting from this aromatic bush.

The plant blooms gorgeous tapered flowers flanked by purple-green sugar leaves. Its enormous trichome count pops against a canvas of dark green flowers and orange pistils.

Gorilla Zkittlez thrives in both indoor and outdoor settings. It has a penchant for warmer climates, but its hardy indica genes can handle even the cooler climates of northern regions. For an indica-dominant strain, Gorilla Zkittlez grows fairly tall. Its sativa genetics certainly shine through when it comes to morphology and growing pattern. Its size might not appeal to clandestine growers, but its yield provides a rewarding payoff.

Indoor plants climb to a height of 140–170cm and develop a large central cola. Growers can utilise training and pruning techniques to keep it low to the ground and force it to produce multiple primary bud sites. Indoors, Gorilla Zkittlez produces a rewarding yield of 500–700g/m². Expect to harvest these buds after a flowering time of 56–63 days.

Outdoor plants reach a similar max height of 170cm. Its tall stature and gorgeous colours will make Gorilla Zkittlez the centrepiece of your garden. Surround your crop with companion plants to deter pest insects and attract beneficial predatory species.

When grown outdoors in garden beds or large containers, Gorilla Zkittlez will put out an incredible yield of 2000–2500g/plant! We found it hard to believe that a plant of this size could produce such a productive return, but its genetics make it perfectly possible. Prepare to harvest a fruitful canopy sometime in mid-October. You’ll need a good supply of mason jars to cure this gargantuan yield properly.
