Seeds for Change: Supporting Asheville’s Rebuild
Blue Ridge Haze Auto was never just about growing a premium citrus hash strain. It was about helping rebuild a city. Through our Seeds for Change initiative, 100% of proceeds went directly to Beloved Asheville, supporting recovery after Hurricane Helene. One powerful plant. One powerful purpose.
When Hurricane Helene swept through the Blue Ridge region, it left a deep scar on the city of Asheville. Homes were lost, lives were turned upside down, and the soul of a vibrant community was shaken. But from the ruins, something powerful is beginning to grow.
One year later: Donation to Beloved Asheville
Now, one year after the floods, we are proud to share the results. Sales of Blue Ridge Haze Auto generated nearly $1,500 in proceeds. To maximise the impact, Zamnesia matched that amount, bringing the total donation to $3,000.
These funds have been donated to Beloved Asheville, a grassroots non-profit known for its community-driven approach to tackling housing, food access, and rebuilding challenges. Their hands-on work continues to make a real difference for residents still recovering from the devastation.
“This donation is about standing with Asheville,” said Nick Avé, General Manager at Zamnesia. “From the moment we launched Blue Ridge Haze, our customers knew their purchase would directly help the community rebuild. Matching the funds was the natural next step, reflecting our commitment to giving back to a place and people we deeply respect.”
