Lemon Haze by Zativo Seeds is a potent, slightly sativa-leaning hybrid, containing roughly 40% indica and 60% sativa. A cross of Amnesia Haze and Lemon Skunk, Lemon Haze delivers very strong effects and boasts a complex aroma combining fresh lemon overtones with earthy notes and hints of spice. Its effects are uplifting and energising, as most would expect given its genetic background. Its restrained height, relatively short flowering time, and compact buds, however, make Lemon Haze adaptable to a variety of growing setups.

When growers see Amnesia Haze in a strain's lineage, they expect towering plants with long flowering times and uncontrollable stretching. And that's exactly why the breeders at Zativo crossed Amnesia Haze with Lemon Skunk; to tame the wild growth of Amnesia Haze without losing its iconic aroma and effects. And they seem to have struck the nail on the head; Lemon Haze plants grow to very manageable heights of 80–140cm indoors and 160–200cm outdoors, developing bright green, thin-fingered leaves and moderate internodes.

As it enters its bloom phase, Lemon Haze will stretch to some degree, but far less than a traditional Haze variety. Its flowers develop quickly and grow very large with big, swollen calyxes, beautiful red pistils, and a thick layer of sticky trichomes. As they approach their final weeks of bloom, Lemon Haze will boast a fresh, citrusy herbal aroma with notable earthy and spicy undertones. Remember to flush your plants for at least one week prior to harvest, and consider keeping them in complete darkness for 48 hours to really boost trichome production before you cut them down.

Lemon Haze buds are best dried and cured slowly, regardless of how eager you are to light them up for a taste. A solid, slow cure will help bring out the spicy, skunky undertones of this unique cross and ensure a smoother, sweeter smoke.
