Damiana: a mild but effective aphrodisiac
A small plant that grows in the southern USA and most of South America, damiana is believed to have been a tonic and aphrodisiac used by the Maya peoples for centuries. It is still used as an ingredient in Voodoo love rituals. Prior to prohibition, the inventor of Coca-Cola developed a wine containing coca, cola, sweet wine, and damiana.
DAMIANA DOSAGE
Brew three tablespoons of damiana powder in half a litre (a pint) of water to make a simple but effective infusion.
DAMIANA ACTIVE COMPOUNDS
The active ingredient in damiana is its volatile oil, which contains tannins, resins, and terpenes. Scientists have yet to isolate any specific components that could confer a hallucinatory effect or high.

Kein Pulver mehr
Beim nächsten Mal nehme ich kein Pulver. In meinem Teebeutel hat es die Poren zugesetzt da es sehr sehr fein ist. Wirkungen für mich eher schwach… denke auch es lag an der Zubereitung.

Also eine bessere Tabak Alternative gibt es nicht. Man kriegt einen leichten angenehmen Rausch. Auch sehr gut als streckmittel für joints geeignet

Excellente alternative au tabac
Je l'ai testé pour éviter de fumer du tabac avec mes joints, goût peu prononcé mais agréable qui ne gâche pas le goût de l'herbe, coupe pas trop fine ni trop épaisse, combustion parfaite si bien mélangé avec le matos, assez peu de branches, mais attention tout de même, avec des feuilles à rouler très fines ou fragiles, il faudra redoubler de vigilance avec les petit morceau un peu plus pointus qui risque de transpercer la feuille au roulage. A comparer avec d'autres damiana du marché pour voir si celle-ci est de bonne qualité, c'est la première alternative au tabac que je teste vraiment et c'est pour le moment une réussite.
