Focus Blend Tincture: A natural herbal formula to enhance focus and concentration
Our Focus Blend Tincture is a specialised formula consisting of all natural herbs that are known to increase concentration and focus. It is based on four herbal ingredients that are used widely around the world for their effects, now formulated in one single blend to sharpen mental clarity.

Panax Ginseng, root – Panax Ginseng is one of many types of ginseng, all of which are sought after for their effect on the body. Panax ginseng is thought to have “heating” properties within traditional Chinese medicine, and is largely associated with the improvement of memory, concentration and erectile dysfunction.
Ginkgo Biloba, leaf – Ginkgo is a unique species of tree that is often described as being a living fossil. It is used in traditional Chinese medicine and is thought to increase blood flow. Some recommend Gingko to boost memory and cognitive function, as more oxygen is delivered to the brain.
Gotu Kola, leaf – Looking back on a long history of use in traditional herbal systems around the world, most notably in Chinese and Indian medicine, Gotu Kola is thought to energise, as well as promote a balanced blood flow in the brain.
Vinca Minor, flowering plant – Vinca Minor has been used as a traditional remedy for cardiovascular problems, increasing blood flow, and treating tension based headaches.

Panax Ginseng – Considered to be true ginseng, can usually be found growing within the northern hemisphere. Not to be confused with other types of ginseng, such as Siberian Ginseng. Panax Ginseng contains many active compounds, including alkaloids, glycosides, phenol, vitamins and polypeptides.
Ginkgo Biloba – Native to China, this tree has no close living relatives and is thought to have been around since the early days of man. It is a large tree, with some Chinese examples reaching up to 50m in height. Gingko’s active components are thought to be myricetin, quercetin, ginkgolides and bilobalides.
Gotu Kola - Also known as Centella asiatica, Gotu Kola is a small herbaceous annual plant belonging to the Mackinlayoidea subfamily of the Apiaceae family of plants. It can be found growing naturally in parts of both Asia and Oceania. The active ingredients of Gotu Kola are asiaitcoside, brahmoside, asparate, serine, brahminoside and madecassoside.
Vinca Minor – Also known as the Lesser Periwinkle, Vinca Minor is a species of plant often found growing naturally in parts of Europe and south west Asia. It is an easy to grow evergreen that is often used as a foliage ground cover. The active ingredient of Vinca Minor is vinpocetine.
Excessive use of Panax Ginseng has been reported to cause side effects of nausea, diarrhoea, headaches, nose bleeds, and both high and low blood pressure.
Ginkgo is thought to be a mild MAO Inhibitor, reduce blood pressure and may effect blood sugar. If your are on medication, consult your doctor.
Gotu Kola should be avoided by those with liver problems.
Vinca Minor should be avoided by those who have a low blood pressure, have any seizure disorder, have any liver problems or suffer from constipation.
Do not mix with drugs, alcohol or any other medication. Pregnant and breast-feeding women should also avoid its use. If in doubt, consult a doctor.
